Friends & family,

Saturday, January 31 appeared to be like any other weekend morning in South Florida to most of us. The weather was questionable, the tourists were out in their "winter" attire, and the excitement of football was on the tips of most people's tongues; it was wonderful to be alive.

Our lives were somewhat different however. Something happened to us that morning that has changed our lives dramatically in all senses of the word. We (Lynette Bohannon and I) joined up to be part of the Team in Training program, in hopes to fight the cause of Leukemia, Lymphoma and other cancerous diseases.

To assist in the fight against blood diseases, we are not only participating in ONE event, but TWO events!! Some have said that we're crazy; we call it driven, motivated, and determined. We are committed to the cause. We will run the Suzuki Rock-n-Roll San Diego Marathon (26.2 miles) on June 6th and the Maui King's Trail Olympic Distance Triathlon on June 13th in Hawaii. It is something that we are extremely excited to complete and believe we can achieve. Our goal is to raise $8000 each!! This is where we ask for your help.

Your participation can make the difference in a life and help the Leukemia and Lymphoma Society in its goal of curing many cancers. We are asking that you contribute any donation you can, no matter how small, or how large; it would be a great help and make a difference. Please join us in this great challenge and know that you were part of that "crazy" team of girls that did both events in a week.

Thank you in advance for your support, time and consideration. We will be thinking of you along the way!!! Knowing that your pledge or contribution will benefit those in need is a trophy in itself. WE ALL COME OUT WINNERS!!!

Sincerely appreciative,
Christine Eskamani and Lynette Bohannon
